We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Academy network environments. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing enterprise networks in a government or regulated environment, with a strong understanding of NIST and FISMA standards.

• Design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain Academy network infrastructure

• Configure, test, and support LAN, WAN, DMZ, and Wireless networks and related services

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues (L2/L3 support)

• Configure and maintain network policies, security controls, and access management

• Design, plan, establish, and optimize wireless network environments

• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and network security tools

• Administer Active Directory and Group Policy in Windows Server and Windows 11 environments

• Manage virtualization platforms using Nutanix Prism and Acropolis Hypervisor

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for network architectures, systems, and appliances

• Collaborate across teams to improve network reliability, performance, and security

• 5 years of hands-on experience in a structured enterprise network environment

• Strong experience configuring Cisco switches and routers

• Experience with Aruba networking solutions, including Wireless and Network Access Control

• Hands-on experience with firewall and VPN configuration, management, and analysis

• Experience with network access security tools

• Proficiency with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy

• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills

• Proven troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and network optimization expertise

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across the organization
