We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Academy network environments. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing enterprise networks in a government or regulated environment, with a strong understanding of NIST and FISMA standards.

Design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain Academy network infrastructure

Configure, test, and support LAN, WAN, DMZ, and Wireless networks and related services

Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues (L2/L3 support)

Configure and maintain network policies, security controls, and access management

Design, plan, establish, and optimize wireless network environments

Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and network security tools
-
Administer Active Directory and Group Policy in Windows Server and Windows 11 environments

Manage virtualization platforms using Nutanix Prism and Acropolis Hypervisor

Create and maintain detailed documentation for network architectures, systems, and appliances

Collaborate across teams to improve network reliability, performance, and security

5 years of hands-on experience in a structured enterprise network environment

Strong experience configuring Cisco switches and routers

Experience with Aruba networking solutions, including Wireless and Network Access Control

Hands-on experience with firewall and VPN configuration, management, and analysis

Experience with network access security tools

Proficiency with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy

Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills

Proven troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and network optimization expertise

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across the organization
