Staff Nurse – RN – Critical Care Float - Full time - Nights

As a float pool nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple world-renowned specialties to deliver hope and healing to patients from around the world in some of our most high acuity areas.
This role supports the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center Critical Care inpatient units including the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Step-Down Units and more. Nurses in this dynamic role support the state-of-the-art Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns by recovering post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU and by playing a critical role in maternal emergency response.

- This position offers experience, education, float pool and night shift differential on top of your base pay.
Preferred Criteria
Minimum two years’ experience as a Critical Care RN, SDU experience and Cardiac Surgical experience
Experience with caring for Post-Cesarean Section patients/ Obstetrical emergencies
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current NYS RN licensure
BCLS and ACLS certification

Proven experience to work autonomously in high pressure situations
