Job Description

Construction Commercial Interiors Project Manager - Manhattan, NYC

    • Manage all phases of commercial interiors projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, and closeout.
    • Lead subcontractor buyout, coordination, and day-to-day project execution.
    • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
    • Coordinate closely with superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants.
    • Navigate NYC building management requirements, logistics, and site constraints.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Project Manager should have:

    • 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor, focused specifically on commercial interiors / tenant improvement projects.
    • Strong understanding of interiors sequencing, finishes, MEP coordination, and fast-track schedules.
    • Proven experience managing projects in Manhattan or dense urban environments.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
