Job Description
Construction Commercial Interiors Project Manager - Manhattan, NYC
- Manage all phases of commercial interiors projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Lead subcontractor buyout, coordination, and day-to-day project execution.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
- Coordinate closely with superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants.
- Navigate NYC building management requirements, logistics, and site constraints.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Project Manager should have:
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor, focused specifically on commercial interiors / tenant improvement projects.
- Strong understanding of interiors sequencing, finishes, MEP coordination, and fast-track schedules.
- Proven experience managing projects in Manhattan or dense urban environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
