As an Environmental Site Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of oil and liquid transfers within our tank farm. You will be responsible for truck-to-truck and tank transfers, conducting sample testing, maintaining inventory records, and performing routine maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of equipment. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and experience in handling hazardous materials.

What You Will Do
- Perform truck-to-truck and tank transfers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain daily truck and tank inventory records using Excel.
- Process and analyze new and existing customer samples, ensuring compliance with a 5% rebuttal threshold for samples.
- Take accurate tank gauge readings and perform daily inspections of tank farm operations.
- Operate oil processing equipment to remove water from oil and load water into trailers for proper disposal.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including greasing valves and pumps, ensuring tanks are properly heated, and maintaining a clean and clutter-free pump house.
- Add necessary additives to oil tanks for product quality control.
- Follow all NOCO safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Identify and report any operational hazards or maintenance needs.
- Assist in emergency response situations when required.

What You Will Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in truck and tank farm operations or a related field.
- Experience in sample testing and working with hazardous materials preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and follow DOT regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
