THE JOB:

The On-Call Special Events Representative plays a crucial role in supporting various casino events, including slot tournaments, VIP ticketing, and promotional activities. This position involves assisting with event setup, providing exceptional guest service, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth event operations.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Assist with event setup, including organizing supplies, loyalty gift distribution, slot tournaments and execution of special events

  • Provide outstanding guest service by sharing information about the casino, events, and local area

  • Manage administrative tasks such as supply inventory, maintaining office equipment, and preparing event materials

  • Organize, assemble, and distribute event materials including promotional gifts, credentials, and décor

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain proper licensure as required by the New York State Gaming Commission

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Is available to work a flexible, on-call schedule that varies from month to month based on the promotional and events calendar and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • An organized and dependable professional who is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), and brings an outgoing, personable approach when interacting with guests and event attendees

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$26.25

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.

Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
